Today I had the pleasure of meeting the Northfield Rotary Club and learning about all that they do for the community. And I was blown away by the kindness and generosity of all the members who donate their time and energy to helping not only the local community, but communities worldwide. I feel lucky to have had the opportunity to be a guest in their meeting today.
The Rotary is an international organization dedicated to “service above self”, where members worldwide work towards ending hunger, improving health and sanitation, and ending polio among other noble pursuits. And what they have done is amazing – they have nearly eradicated the disease worldwide!

I am excited for the opportunity to be more involved with athletics in Northfield, and hopefully come back to help in a Nordic clinic or athletic camp!
