It’s been such a busy fall this year! I’ve hopped from Stratton, to Minnesota, and on to our last USST camp of the year in Park City, Utah. It was really fun to see the leaves turn in my last week out East and get in some high quality training with my club teammates. Then I spent a week at home where I got to see a lot of my friends, snuggle with our little neurotic chihuahua, hang out with my sister and welcome my parents home from a bike trip they’d been on in France!
I also got to stop by the office at Podiumwear and work on fit, cut and design for upcoming suits! I also got to see the new cutting machine in action, which was really impressive.
Then it was time to head down to Park City for the last camp of the year! But before camp began, Liz organized our annual Fast and Female event at the Center of Excellence, and it was such a great day! There were over 160 girls and ambassadors from a number of sports present to share their love of sport and being active for life.
And then camp got rolling! It’s cool to see so many athletes from different regions come together to push each other to get better. We had the National team, SMS, APU, and Craftsbury Green Team. Week one was focused on more volume with some focused intensity, while our second week will be hammer-time with some roller ski time trials and even more intervals!
